Summer free festival

Just wondering what free local festivals are on in your local community/town and who is playing?

In Dartford we have the festival over the weekend on 15/16 th July. The line up this year is pretty good:

I usually go on the Sunday with my family, camp chairs and big bag of beer. Looking forward to hooky this year hopefully play some joy division and new order classics.

  • There is one long festival all year round in Woolwich in General Gordon Square.
    Bring your special Brew and sit in front of the big screen. Its a cracker.

    Joking aside, Woolwich had the Tall Ships At Easter, and got to see Glenn Tillbrook on stage on the opening night.

    And we've got the mini music festival at the White Swan organized by some good people on here on the 22nd July.


  • Line up for the Sunday with Space and Peter Hook is quality.
  • Its a beautiful neighbourhood.
  • I hope the good people of Dartford don't confuse Peter Hook with Dr Hook. It could get messy.
