Cover to Cover: Twist and Shout

Henry seems to be enjoying his little game so let's nip that in the bud straight away.

Two versions of the same song. Listen to one, both or neither, I'm not a dictator, don't really give a shit to be honest.

You can mention other versions of the same song just to pee him off, be it Top Notes, Isley Brothers, even flippin Salt n Peppa.

Twist and Shout from some Scouse gobshites called the Beatles, or Twist n Shout from the lyrical geniuses, the Kings of Reggae that are Chaka Demus and Pliers.

It's a non-contest, so don't even bother getting off ya butt and moving one time, we all know ol this is going to be a landslide for the Da Pliers.

Shabba!!

  • Shameful drunken undermining of a successful feature on CL.

OK, forget art, let's revert to Would Ya's, whose rack and the grass thread.

Not even a good match up.

PS Isley Brothers every time ; - )

Precisely. I'd even go as far to say that your successful feature more than deserved a 'promote'. Did you get one? Did you b..........

You speak the truth but AFKA doesn't want the truth.

It was either her or Nirvana's version...I couldn't decide.

    ;-)

  • Salt'n'Pepa for nostalgia value, Beverley Knight for sheer oomph (although she does have the advantage of a huge squad of backing singers). And @Bournemouth Addick WTF was Celine Dion doing with the pulling her hair and shrieking in that clip?
