Was Chef Wendy in the cup just before or just after Roland?

    The Middlesbrough protest game.

Felt like anything could happen at anytime. Such an unpredictable, fun day amidst the despair.

    Watford away 5-0.

What a brilliant day that was.

My husband just played the beginning of that match on tv as we saved it on our Sky planner. It really was the best of all the protests, such a shame RD & KM are still in charge and have dragged us down to such depths.

Are we seriously already getting nostalgic for the Roland era? He hasn't even left the building yet!

The abandoned Doncaster game was certainly one of the most memorable. Chanting off off off, while the Doncaster players tried to spike and clear the water at half time!

What was really galling for Doncaster, was that their 3-1 lead was wiped off, but the sending off and suspension for one of their players wasn't

One of the most memorable of the RD era despite being several months before he took over ;)

The QPR game - under Powell it still felt like our club - remember going crazy when the winner went in. Nowadays couldnt care less - just want these {....} gone.

The game wher the underfloor heating didn't work. That one.

Actually think delaying that game had a bigger effect on our season than many have realised. The message it sent to the players that Robbo wanted the game off (sure they never admitted it but it was convenient) was one that said he didn't belive in them and had no confidence they'd win...

The 3-2 win over Derby in the first week of the 14/15 season - we played some exhilarating football that night, and even George Tucudean looked good!

    Was that under Peeters?
  • Options
Yep, during that part of the season where we went unbeaten for a long time without ever looking that good.

Wasn't there a game at home to Cardiff that finished 4-4 or 5-4 or something like that

Before Roland. If I recall correctly we were losing 2-0 and went 5-2 up and Cardiff pulled it back to 5-4 and Ben hamer was utterly livid after the game and got pelters from the rest of the squad on twitter.

13/14 To add to QPR, Watford and Blackpool, 1-0 at Leeds when Hamer saved that injury time penalty. And also 3-2 v at Sheffield Massives. 0-2 down after 9 minutes and a Sorsell hat-trick.

    Have to agree with 14/15 & 15/16.

16/17 the two wins against Bristol Rovers and the win at Bolton with 10 men.

The one where he actually showed up to the game.

Yep, both. Good games too. The Chestefield was a comfortable 3-1. I think that was the game of Paul Hayes' brilliant backheel flick goal and Leon Clarke missing an open goal for Chesterfield (should have learned something from that).

The Stevenage 2-0 game was BWP's first goal since November and ended his goalless streak and was a huge win in pushing back a rival promotion hopeful who had beaten us earlier in the season. Morrison scored a proper belter as well. Great games, great atmosphere.

Hoping & praying that we can put the up & coming Swindon game as one of the best...(if it finishes obv),in that it will be remembered in our folklore as thee very last game under the fookin tosspot...!!!

For me really, apart from the protest games, because not seen a lot of games otherwise...it's the JJ winner against QPR all day long...atmosphere for that game & especially at the end was immense...!!!
