  • I di read a link that Josh Harris was looking to sell his share in Palace. A bit left field to become a major shareholder in Alcorcon though, and he was interested in buying us before Roland. What are his reasons for buying Alcorcon?  To have a link up with Palace?  or is it a case of Roland now wants out out and is now willing to get rid off all of the clubs and has agreed a price for us and Alcorcon to Josh Harris just to get rid. Am I right in thinking there has been 2 rumours flying around.. One was from an American Consortium and Australians? Is he the American one and will go part with Aussies?  Wasn't there rumours of someone who was linked to another club British?  I am hoping Roland ha dropped his price for Alcorcon and doing the same with us and now getting out. We keep saying this every summer but surely this is the best time to sell us with players out of Conttact and finishing 3rd. If we don't go up this would have been our best chance.
  • oh did he Henry.. so no chance then
  • Like I said on the other thread, it has to be encouraging.
Proof that he wants out of football.
Did Harris pay the asking price?

Does he though? He’s have sold already if he really wanted out.
  • So he hasn't bought the "pottery club"?

  • So Harris heard of the link,
    denied it
    then bought the club anyway

That sounds like Classic Roland before he confirmed the club is on the market

Rumours that club is up for sale
    We're Not selling the club
Then confirms the club is up for sale after Meire leaves

Disagree. It's time for a house analogy.
I may be very keen, but not desperate to sell my house for £650K.
    I certainly wouldn't sell it for £300K.
  • What is Harris 18 per cent of palace worth?.Sell it then buy Charlton FC.

Houses on your street are going for anything from 150k to 300k but you won’t sell for 650? Like I said, do you really want to sell or are you just paying lip service?

Probably another RD, if he invests in more than one club, how interested is he in their success?

    Better than a premature ejaculation!

(Just lowered the tone a bit with that one)

  • Is PALACE for sale, link to the above

The former Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is being linked with a return to English football.

The Thai businessman and politician has made an approach to Crystal Palace, according to reports.

The 68 year-old wants to acquire an interest in a Premier League club once again and has reached out to Palace co-owner and chairman Steve Parish.

Any takeover could set him back over £150 million it is said.

  • Well look what I stumbled across today! More evidence that the Wallonian Buffoon is looking to get out of football and try his luck in other business ventures, this time in Keswick in the Lake District. Pretty sure there'll be a very suitable role here for Driesen as well.

Job made for Tony as well.
  • Fiongers crossed. Page 1666 it'll happen

Would that be The Great Fire sale of Charlton?
