  • Had Dustin Johnson pulled out before competition started i believe anyone who backed him would have had their money refunded.
As he reached the first tee I don't think they do.
A bit like if a horse comes under starters orders.
If i am correct i would be pissed off if I had backed him

Dustin Johnson pulled out on first tee, bit shit for his playing partner if he has to go round on his own or is it a 3 ball today?

    3 ball.

Then at the weekend the local legend & cult hero Jeff Knox joins any odd man out (and beats them).
Not heard of him, just read his story. Class.
  • Charley Hoffman. What a round.

I'm pretty sure all bookmakers will refund any bets on Johnson.

Are Bet365? They are usually the worst for this type of thing bob.
  • Great last 5 holes from Westwood btw!

Yep - his putting is suspect under pressure. Expect him to be just a couple of shots off the lead going down the stretch & then miss a couple of 5 footers to end up 4th or 5th.

  • Danny Willet just had a 8 on the 1st hole of his second round
  • Westwood putting like a dick again today

    Westwood putting like a dick

  • 53 make the cut so Jeff Knox is in
  • Westwood putting like a dick again today

Told you his putting is suspect. He'll never win a Major.
  • Thrilling day, great leaderboard. Rooting for...more or less everyone in the top ten. But maybe Sergio the most. I'm also, controversially, a massive Spieth fan - cut him and he'd bleed golf
  • I am lumped from the start on;
    1. Rose @ 25-1 e/w 8 places
    2. Garcia @ 40/1 same
    3. Westwood @ 80/1 same
    4. Scott @ 33/1

    Just added cover bets on
    5. Hoffman @ 20/1 e/w top 3
    6. Moore @ 14/1 same

So, people, the clever money will need to go on Spieth and Fowler!
  • I've got Rose and Garcia. Avoid them! :-)
  • Come on Sergio, you can do it. Just when they said you'd never win a major you can prove them all wrong.

Apparently Rose is going out with Garcia today. Seems like a nice couple....
  • As it's Seve's birthday today it would be quite fitting if Garcia won it. I would be happy for him or Rose but I think Speith may well notch up a 2nd jacket tonight.
  • Don't want Speith to win but must be favourite with two seconds and a first in his first three appearances at Augusta, this being his fourth :open_mouth: .
  • Rose for me. Great under pressure
  • Don't feel bad for them:

Rose should have had it on the last Par.5

Door has well and truly swung back open now
  • GREAT shot from Sergio just then.

  • This is pretty much match play. If Sergio wins a major it makes sense it'll be in a match play situation. I love the majors.
