    What special skills did he bring into the country that hundreds, if not thousands, of out of work UK and EU football managers don't have?

    Belgians not an issue as EU citizens so don't need a work permit.

    USA (and as KM found out) Israeli coaches do as not in the EU.

    Assume that as Bradley was an international coach he qualifies on that basis ie better qualified that Karel Fraeye

    Thanks. Didn't realise that.

    However, I was actually not referring to the work permit thing. Just that they're owned by American owners who (conveniently) appointed an American manager.
