Rudd 7 made one great save at 0-1 to keep us in it, looked like he knew what was what Foley 6 surprisingly wasn't the problem, but then was playing in his actual position Fox 4.5 had a bad game, put a couple of decent balls in though Bauer 6 defended ok, distribution questionable Pearce 5.5 defended ok, distribution rank Holmes 6 had some electrifying bursts and won a penalty, but his crossing was terrible today and he got done for their goal Crofts 4 not going to defend him any more, he's yours CL Ulvestad 6 did ok for the most part. not the strongest or most powerful player, needs someone a bit like that beside him Jackson 2 you want to be a coach? then be one. Lookman 7 MOM got things moving, can't take corners, our brightest spark unsurprisingly Magennis 6 big effort from the man but looked tired, unsurprisingly, being asked to do the worst job in football every week Ajose 5 looked like something might happen with him around, but when the chance came, he went full Spongefoot
Novak looked better than usual and held it up ok, not especially potent though Botaka was a livewire, one poor finish from a difficult angle and a couple of great bursts. where has he been for five fucking games?

Slade 1. Embarrassing formation at home in this league. Other L1 managers would love to have the likes of lookman and holmes in their team and he should be doing much better with this squad. I worry Slade will never get a team promoted if he continues to set his sides up so negatively.

Crofts 4 - once more looked poor, gives the ball away so often. Ulvestad 5 - cannot have any effect in this team, bullied a bit today. Jackson 3.5 - normally don't notice him... today I did and it wasn't pretty. can't recall him having any positive impact at all, coupled with a number of glaring mistakes and weak penalty. feel for the guy as he was the only one trying to get people going.
