  • Crikey they must have to work hard to shut Russell up, he does seem to talk and talk........hopefully the shortness of today's press conference is because he is busy getting deals done.

Or, as one of the biggest complaints on here is signing crocks, it will be a proper medical, to make sure there are no underlying problems...
  • funny thing is I didn't even bat an eyelid about bauer, I just thought meh, doesn't surprise me with this regime, realised it was bollocks when the baeur thread hadn't re-appeared on the front page

  • Could Diarra and Kashi injuries really be a blessing . . . Means no other clubs will be in for them while they are injured and they will be with us until at least January

Diarra is out for 2-3 months and i'm sure i read Kashi was 4 months. We are Charlton so you can probably add another month (at least) onto both. By the time either are close to being match fit, it'll be January.

Just in time to give a boost to the promotion push...
  • and Lennon 'could' rejoin the group in three weeks. Not promising.
  • So, the season is upon us and we have the usual mix of long term injuries to our better players (Diarra, Kashi, Bauer) and a manager who openly admits we're four players short.

    How fucking depressing.

I think it's in the News Shopper interview that RS lays into the lack of ongoing medical treatment and care after the season ended commenting about the lack of professionalism.

Russ you are my type of gaffer m8!!!!!

Hope his attitude will permeate up to the CEO and boardroom like some weird osmosis!

Offset by the fact we do have a proper manager who seems to be fighting his corner with the board, who really don't want to make these signings.
For now. But how long it (or he) will last .........

Bauer isnt long term is he? He is back in full training and has been for a couple of weeks. Should be back in the team in a couple of weeks assuming he gets a couple of behind closed doors games.
