No Injury Time?

That was not us damaging the integrity of the game...

  • One minute during the first half when it should have been 3/4 minutes. Second half naff all, when it should have been 8 minutes.

The fourth official summed the game when he pissed off towards the tunnel with a minute to go with his balls and his electronic board. They had no intention of playing one second past the 90 mins.

Game should be null and void. See you thursday!!

  • Each substitution is allocated 30 seconds.
There were 6 subs in the game = 3 minutes to be added on.

That's before any physio on the pitch, stoppages for flares, stoppage for the pitch invader, etc.

It can only be concluded that the referee ended the game before the minimum 90 minutes had been played.
That contravenes the laws of the game.

  • The allowance for lost time is at the discretion of the referee - so he doesn't have to play any added time irrespective of subs, injuries and so on.

I think the clock was on something like 90.34 when he blew so the minimum 90 minutes had been played.
  • there was a guy standing near the 4th official who was taking notes throughout the game and talked to the 4th official. Think he might have been from the League and it was he who decided no extra time
