Here is a idea what Blackpool fans did last season

edited February 2016 in General Charlton
Protest at 12pm for two hours then around 2pm go and watch a non-league team.

Fixtures for this Saturday are:

Welling V Aldershot
Dartford V Concord Rangers
Ebsfleet V Hayes and Yeading - Maybe Varney might be there so a few supportive chants for him?

Bromley are playing away.

    High noon.
  • I'm all for a protest but I'm not that keen on a midnight start

Alright, just because it's you, you can start at 23:45...

You do realise you're the night shift.
  • Another poxy idea.

Still says 12pm, which is meaningless. Assume you mean midday.
  • Will there be a Disco?
  • There is only one way RD will take notice, no season ticket sales

Of course and 12pm is not meaningless.
  • Abadone a game? Or at least assign a minute to throw tennis balls on the pitch? Our club is plumenting down and i'm not sure gimmicky things like masks are the way to go. Trivialises the issue slightly. Tougher action needs to take place.
  • If we believe we are truly relegated already then anything which results in a point deduction does not matter.

However fines imposed on the club would hurt them even more!!

    Just saying
  • I could be wrong, but I think a points deduction would get rolled onto next season, seriously wondering if administration is a viable option.

    Good idea. But...

Sad to say, as shown on another thread there are still plenty of fans who simply cannot see the bigger picture and would be scared of making one of our precious little players upset by not being there to support them

This. Surely the team are as good as relegated now? And to be honest, who gives a shit if it upsets the players? We won't have a team to support soon if this continues.

It has to be time for a mass boycott or walk out surely? Even the people who are on a run of games, could surely walk out of a game with say half and hour to go - regardless of the score line. I know it's each to their own and people have their own opinions, but even the most blinkered of supporter must be able see what's going on?

  • Just listening to 5 live and reviewing some league one games and mentioned Blackpool fans not going until Oystens have gone. One fan email said they would happily go out of the league if it meant the Oystens sold the club.
  • Has to be 12 noon, no such time as 12 pm.

Pointless comment about pointless comments. Nothing to see here.
  • Great to see the Charlton flag in the midst of all the protests at Blackpool today.
