  • JBG has lost a lot of my respect. Nowhere near the player he was.
  • He probably knows more about how he feels than you do
  • Wimp.
What happened to "they paid their money they're entitled to their opinion?"
Never mind it wasn't directed at the players
  • Just carry on worrying about the Euros, you have been for the last three months. Lack of commitment from JBG a rings true for many of our so called better players this season

  • Can we boo him yet?
  • The audio of this interview is on this week's Charlton Live podcast so you can contextualise them.

    http://bit.ly/1Hz7dQT 53 and a half mins in
  • Hmmm so we've won everytime the fans have got behind the team and lost everytime they've been booed off the pitch...

Thats the second player to come out now and say the fans arent helping performances and still the fans think its bullshit, yes people on here have said that its not aimed at the players but if thats the case, protest when the match isnt in progress, there is plenty of time before and after the match to vent our views without it involving the players.

Of course fans cant do that now because they've booed for so many years they know that if they stop that performances will pick up and it'll become completely clear that it is their fault!!.

Yes the old saying is that we pay our money we can say what we want, but if thats the simple case, your not forced to spend your money, dont like it, dont bother!!... In addition its so simple that if a player wants a say, why dont they too just buy a season ticket!!!

He is right it does not help; however the last part of the para above is fair enough and spot on.
I was referring to Henry's post by the way.
  • I don't think he's said anything wrong.
The last thing we want now is fans getting on his back. If they do that you might as well kiss goodbye to the championship right now.

Don't think we've got a chance of the championship mate - too far behind already.

  • Good job he wasn't around in the Hulyer days, not being paid, uncertain futures. Or for that matter in 1985. We'd never have been promoted.
  • Not going to start having a go at the players because it will just add fuel to the fire, team needs backing and as some have said quite probably journo fuelled, but if sentiment is as suggested, he needs to get a grip. Wouldn't mind if the protesting/ chanting was full on for 90 minutes making it a Liege style cauldron of anti RD hate or something similar
  • One comment many fans make is that Referees are rubbish because they dont understand the game because they've never played at that level... Bit of a joke really because how many of our fans can say that they've played at that level themselves, bet its a handful yet all of us claim to understand the level of Football?

He wants to leave so is trying to get the fans against him so he's got an easy route out.
  • Cheers JBG. £100 for Brighton trip and it's my fault
