As you all know I am boxing on 5th July for cancer research I had my shorts printed with my kids names on. one on the front of the waist band, one on the back and one down each leg I was thinking of putting the charlton badge on one leg and the rangers badge on the other leg but can't find any sew on or iron on badges anywhere is there any fellow lifers out there that can point me in the right direction

I think there's only two ways you'll get one now. One is to find a shop that will make the badge - probably a school or work outfitters. The difficulties here are that they'll want a setting-up fee, might insist on a minimum order number, and won't do it at all if they have any scruples about copyright issues. The other way is to take one off of an old shirt, but the downside here is that you lose the shirt. Good luck.

You would probably have to order a minimum (as stig pointed out) but if you could order a small (ish) amount like 10, could you not also buy a load of cheap t- shirts and put them on there, along with your name, for all you friends and family to support you?

What has charlton got to do with you boxing? Or for that matter rangers?

Nothing per se. I guess it's just a matter of personalising them. No-one ever questions when they see a car sticker, what has that got to do with motoring?

Lots of boxers have their national colours on their shorts and Carl Froch regularly fought wearing a Forest badge.

Its no different to Ricky Hatton having the Manchester city badge on his shorts, just showing his support for the club.

They made him do it, he actually hates punching people in the face but these two powerhouses of British football have threatened him with violence if he didn't

Charlton are my team and rangers are the team I was made to support from a young age by my uncle so that's in his memory but just a question to you MR CAT what has it got to do with you keep popping up on people's posts with nothing decent to say apart from trying to piss people off

It was a question, that's all. No need to get so worked up. It's just that I don't understand the need for people to badge themselves up when they're doing an individual thing that has meaning to them but has no connection to the football club.
If you met my cats I'm sure you'd like them.
