    Well he just linked him.

Yeah, is that not enough. I said so. ;-)

It's been doing the doing on Twitter that we are one of the clubs in for him. Sounds like a permanent deal.

Not sure how we can sign anyone without a manager and potentially coaches so this thread should be an exit rumour thread only

Didn't Man Utd just try and sign someone for £27m without a manager?

    Coaches have some sway
or maybe there is a gaffer lined up who isn't currently available

Patience - the season isn't even finished and some are already slating the club

  • Really not sure about amazing got a few other words for them though.
  • Lucky we don't have any like that on here.
  • Yes, this time the Rumours thread is going to be different.
  • Managerless Blackpool have released 17 players, including former caretaker player-boss Barry Ferguson.

Among those also leaving are Kirk Broadfoot, Michael Chopra, Robert Earnshaw, Elliot Grandin, Nathan Tyson and Tony Warner.

Eight players, including goalkeeper Matt Gilks and striker Ricardo Fuller, have been offered new deals.

The other players to be offered new contracts are Chris Basham, Neal Bishop, Craig Cathcart, Angel Martinez, Tony McMahon and Isaiah Osbourne.

Also departing the club are Louis Almond, Anderson Banvo, Jake Caprice, James Caton, Adam Dodd, Nathan Eccleston, Mark Halstead, Faris Haroun, Chris Kettings and Liam Tomsett.
  • Blackburn have announced their retained list, with defender Ryan Edwards among 16 players leaving Ewood Park.

Centre-back Jack O'Connell, who spent last season on loan at Rochdale, is one of six youngsters offered new deals.

Midfielder David Dunn and full-back Markus Olsson are the only two senior players out of contract this summer.

Their futures are still being discussed, although they are entitled to speak to other clubs as they are over the age of 24.

Edwards, a former captain of Blackburn's youth team, did not make a first-team appearance for Rovers, but had loan spells with Tranmere, Chesterfield and Morecambe last season.

Also leaving the Championship club is New Zealand international midfielder Tim Payne, another young player who failed to break into Gary
  • Middlesbrough have released eight players who are out of contract this summer, including defenders Frazer Richardson and Stuart Parnaby.

Richardson, 31, made 11 appearances for Boro following his arrival last August but then was sent on loan to Ipswich.

Parnaby, also 31, returned for a second spell in August 2012 and played 21 games, three of which came in 2013-14.

Jayson Leutwiler, Lewis Sirrell, Birger Meling, Jake Fowler, Cameron Park and Matthew Waters also leave the club.

Swiss goalkeeper Leutwiler was limited to five outings for Boro since joining the club from Basel in 2012.

Loanees Nathaniel Chalobah, Danny Graham, Tomas Mejias, Kenneth Omeruo and Jozsef Varga have returned to their respective parent clubs.

I enjoy these relased squads updatres CE.

This one doesnt make sense though. .. who did they release? 16 players - cant all be youth. So the 16 quote must be a mistake.

Out of the lists today Id love Chabolah. Unlikely but great player. Poyet swap Chabolah plus 1M ...so easy a solution and we'd have nothing to talk about this Summer ; )

    All the rest? No thanks.

We are not Man Utd though are we. By that I mean a huge club with massive attraction. We are coming off the back of a poor season and signing good players might be tougher without them knowing much about the future.
Of course however, RD will know his plans so hopefully any potential signings will buy into whatever he tells them.
  • We've got as much chance of winning the Champions League as United.
  • Liam ridgewell has been released from west brom , wouldn't mind him local lad aswell.

As this is the rumours thread wasn't he supposed to have wiped his backside with £20 notes once in a 'loadsa money' gesture ?

So was my childhood hero Johnny Summers, doesn't make them all bad people :-)
  • Sorry, but where is this Afobe stuff coming from? Very little on Twitter and certainly nothing from any sort of credible source. Be warned, 99% of "TRANSFER RUMOUR" Twitter accounts are run by kids in their bedrooms.
