    It CAN be, I would say. The example you used is hilarious, stuff like The Thick Of It makes it work - Peter Capaldi makes swearing practically a form of beautiful art. But adding swear words to otherwise unfunny lines won't suddenly make it funny, or smart. All things in moderation!
