Comments

  • Hamer - 6 Still looks shaky but some good catches
    Wood - 6.5 Did ok.
Morrison - 7 Star man at the back
    Dervite - 6
    Wilson - 5 Sluggish
Wiggins - 6.5 Lots of energy going forward. Crossing not so good.
    Stephens - 6 Mixed Bag
Jackson - 7 Charlton MoM. Showed more passion than any of the others.
    Pritchard -7 Good effort again.
Church - 5 Poor. Completely devoid of confidence
Sordell -5.5 Anonymous for most of the match.

Stewart and Harriott - both 7 for their cameos.

  • Hamer - 6.5 Average Performance not really tested
    Wood - 6.5
Morrison - 7 Won majority of his battles and carried ball out of defence well
Dervite - 6.5 Did ok few wayward hopeless long balls
Wilson - 6 Some solid defending but wasteful going forward
    Wiggins - 6.5
Stephens - 6 Got into decent positions to recieve dwelling on the ball too long to create anything tho
Jackson - 7 MOM his anger when we conceded the first goal showed his passion wanted it more then the rest.
Pritchard - 7 Pressing off the ball good look ok in possession.
Church - 6 Bit of pace and lots of running but no real threat
Sordell - 5.5 Anonymous marked out the game so easy didn't even bother to jump to win the ball in the air.

Stewart & Harriott both changed the tempo of the game with their direct running.
  • Hamer 6 still looks shaky
    Wood 7
    Morrison 7
    Dervite 7
    Wilson 6
    Wiggins 6
    Stephens 6
    Jackson 7
    Pritchard 7
    Church 6
    Sordell 4 very poor

    Stewart n/a
    Harriott n/a
  • Hamer-6.5
    Wood-6
    Morrison-7 my MoM
    Dervite-6.5
    Wilson-6 better second half.
    Wiggins-6
    Stephens-6
    Jackson-7
    Pritchard-6.5
    Church-5.5
    Sordell-5 frustrating
  • Hamer 6 couldn't do much for either goal
    Wood 5.5
    Morrison 6
    Dervite 5.5
Wilson 5.5 final ball not good enough, rest of his game was good
    Wiggins 5.5 same as wilson
    Stephens 6
Jackson 7 Three centre mids looked good, and the skip put in a great shift
    Pritchard 6
Church 5 booking looked a dive to me, I was fairly close
Sordell 4.5 weak on the ball, easily dispossessed

Verdict: Not worried... yet, plenty of possession and if Kerm was on the pitch we would have drawn/won. Point would have been a fair result for me.
  • Hamer 5.5 lacking in confidence
Wood 6 all three defenders solid except for the one error
    Morrison 6
    Dervite 6
    Wilson 5.5 poor final ball
Wiggins 5.5 too many short passes not enough centres
Stephens 6.5 this style suits him
Jackson 7 never gave up trying and probably wore himself out
Pritchard 5.5 ran about a lot and passed to Hudds players a lot
Church 5.5 chickened out of some 50/50 balls
Sordell 3 and I'm being kind, offered to drop him off at the Reebok on my way home

Hamer 6.5- I thought he looked good dealing with crosses, bad marking was at fault for the first goal.
    Wood - 6
    Morrison- 7
    Dervite - 6.5
    Wilson - 6 lacked energy
    Wiggins - 6
Stephens - 6.5a few decent passes but like a lot of the midfield lacking in energy and fight
    Jackson - 6.5
Pritchard - 7 the only player who was putting in a shift in the middle of the park first half
Church - 6 very bad dive , a lot of running no real threat
Sordell - 5 really does not look interested

Stewart n/a 7 made a big difference with speed and enthusiasm cracker of a goal
Harriott n/a 7 linked up well to create a few late chances obviously very eager to get back in the team
  • Hamer 6
    Wood 6.5
    Morrison 7.5 great first half
    Dervite 6
    Wilson 6
    Wiggins 6
    Stephens 6
    Jackson 7
    Pritchard 7
    Church 5
    Sordell 4 useless

Hamer 5 (if Steve Brown had been in goal it still would have been 2-1)
    Wood 6
    Morrison 6
    Dervite 6
Wilson 5 (crossing needs to improve. Solly would be better in 3-5-2)
Wiggins 5 (in a 3-5-2 we need to be bold enough to try harriott or Stewart)
    Stephens 6
    Jackson 6
    Pritchard 6
    Church 5
Sordell 5 (unfairly slated. How many minutes has he played for us before he is being written off?)

    Stewart n/a
    Harriott n/a

  • Hamer - 6
    Wood - 6
    Morrison - 6
    Dervite - 6
    Wilson - 6
Wiggins - 5 his crossing and passing were poor
Stephens - 5.5 faded in second half
    Jackson - 7
    Pritchard - 6.5 worked tirelessly
Church - 5.5 won little in the air, didn't stop us regularly pumping the ball up to him
Sordell - 4 just didn't appear to try

Need to player wingers Stewart and harriot from the start! We actually looked dangerous with them 2 on the pitch but it was too late . Church and sordell was very poor .
  • Interesting marks, thanks to the guys that went
  • It is very worrying that Sordell is scoring so low. With his track record I think most of us were pleased that we got him for the season. There must be a very good footballer in there somewhere and we won't unlock that potential unless he plays -but we can't really afford a passenger until he comes good. A dilemma.
