Isn't that what happened with Jenkinson? He was a decent member of our youth squad and then he filled out and suddenly started looking like a proper footballer. Next stop Arsenal. While you can sometimes see a decent player coming a mile off there are some youth players who can develop late as players, or have a sudden turning point where they go from a possible player to a real prospect. I was shocked by Jenkinson's development and even though I liked him a lot I never thought Solly would reach the level he's at so quickly and with so little first team experience
