Zaha says he wants Jan move...

...in the paper this morning if Palace agree.

That's him off then.

That's the only way I can see Palace selling in the window. How committed he would be on the pitch, under such an arrangement, that's a question. Lets hope for the worst.

    How much?

Id rather he stay there. They will make £'s out of him and be able to buy well.

How does that song go ? ...'he's just too good for you...'

Not if its a Parker type move and they are left with no time to purchase (fingers crossed)

And the advertising hoardings promoting season tickets say that too.

They bank on Zaha money to keep them afloat as they have similar, but slightly worse P&L to us. So when they sell, there won't be much reinvested in players. That's Richard Murray's view, rather than mine.

Their fall from the summit couldn't have come at a worse time so near to the transfer window. If they were top too Zaha would have seen genuine premiership possibilities with Crystal Palace and be a different story. Now both he and club be happy to cash in on his worth.

Chelsea could get both. Abrahamovich (spelling?) can afford who he wants if he is in the mood

No doubt, but the squad is packed through with quality already.. id have thought zaha would already be behind moses in terms of chances of starting.

Somebody should whisper John Bostock in his ear.

Seriously while the hell doesn't he just stay to the end of the season and get more experience. He'll still get his dream move then. Chances are if he moves now, he'll end up in the reserves for the next couple of years if he goes to one of the really big boys.

Could be another classic moment at Sellout if we all serenade the Palace faithful with a rousing chorus of "he's just too good for you". Could be on a par with "we'll never play you again" at that never to be forgotten day back in 2000.

Moses has been a revelation (sorry to sound so biblical) .. Many England caps should come his way .. I agree on the squad point. It's difficult to keep talented and ambitious players happy on a player rotation/horses for courses basis .. as Mancini is finding to a certain extent

How often does a PL club buy a player and immediately loan him back to the selling club for the rest of the season? Has it ever?

    Was thinking the same thing.

I think Liverpool loaned back the kid at Wycombe Jordan Ibe but he was still at School. That's the only example I can think of.

I do recall Sunderland loaning Connor Wickham back to Ipswich after they bought him.

How many young English players has Chelsea bought and given a chance? Apart from the money you wouldn't go there. He'd be much better off at United, Liverpool or Spurs whre he'd at leats get a go.

I hope he really wants to go and they refues, he gets the hump and their season falls apart

Hopefully he leaves on Jan 31st and they have no time to replace him.

Better off replacing walcott at arsenal

I'd like to see them sell him in this window for about £10m. Then on the very day they sold him a freak asteroid would rip through the roof of Holmesdale end causing exactly £10m of damage. It would then be found that due to an administrative error Palarse had not renewed their buildings insurance and had to foot the bill.

LOL! You're not one of Palace's greatest fans then?!

It could rip through the entire shite hole and not cause ten bobs worth of damage.

An old family friend & Palace fan who occasionally socialises with some of the Palace board says he was told that Zaha was always off in January to the highest bidder and that is why Freedman left.

Not saying it is completly true but thought i would add it.

Moses has chosen to play for Nigeria... I can't see why Chelsea would need Zaha, an out and out striker to cover/compete with Torres is their vacancy - perhaps they should buy Glenn Murray instead :-)

Knowing sods law, the freak asteroid will rip the Arthur Wait roof off, so we'll have an open air away section!
