After Yann's stunner last night we have now scored 4 direct free kicks in the league this season (Jackson's 2 v both Sheffield clubs and Yann's at Yeovil).

Surely this must be a record?

    yeah I can't remember too many in previous years. El karkouri maybe scored about 2, same with Jensen. Walsh scored more but over a number of seasons.

    As well as Yann and JJ we have Danny Green who apparently can score from a fk, plus for some reason I'm thinking that Wiggins also has some experience in this department?

    Dale Stephens scored in open play at home against Bury a few games ago so we can dispell that stat.

    Its great that we are so good at free kicks because if we weren't we wouldn't be top. But a goal's a goal and we've scored some great ones this season.

    That ws an own goal all day long :) I was stood behind the goal as it went in.
