Odd one if going to wolves, although nothing suprises me, esp when an owner was spouting about next manager going to have to have lots of experience etc, really means we're about to offer someone with no top level experience.
Seems a bit harsh to be sacked for losing 3 games all season. The problem is that there seems to be 2 outstanding sides in the league and it is looking like play offs at best for the others, so we have probably contributed to this in a small way.
odd if they are saying 'Sacked'. who do they think would improve their side? They lost against a rival for autamatic promotion but they are still in with a chance and of course the playoffs are still very much avalible.
lost 3 games in 55. Seems like only a few weeks ago that they were 300 years unbeaten, set to win the CL and were to represent England at the Euros. How times change. Reading Down at the Mac he wasn't too popular. Seems they want Warnock.

Massive fans on owls talk have been saying the same. they want warnock as well.
he should have got them promoted over the last few seasons, they have had one of the biggest budgets. The board don't care about going unbeaten they care about going up.
terrible decision. He'll be a good appointment for someone along with Terry McDermot. Wonder who'll they'll go for. Not many better than Clarke out there for this level of football.
"with 16 games we still have an opportunity to achieve promotion and have made this change with this in mind"
what? oh right cos they have been in free fall with clarke in charge. Benefiting the club. balls. they just dident like he's shifty face. They will Struggle for play offs now.
That should bring him back down to earth with a bump! Guy has a massively inflated opinion of himself! His time at Huddersfield can only be viewed as one of failure. The board have given him a substantial transfer budget (for a league 1 club) over the past few seasons and he has failed to get them out of the division.

Exactly, isn't it Clarke who's got them in the position to "have an opportunity to achieve promotion" with 16 games to go ?

A few weeks ago they were right on our tails and looked like real contenders not they're 12 point behind having played a game more.

think 'sack' is the interesting word in that statement.
Wolves would be suicidal for anyone without Prem manager experience.

Ridiculous to sack him now
