Why do I need to sign in to CL on my iPhone every few hours?

Normally I need to sign in once a month if that but recently my cookie seems to expire every session.

Did I miss an email? is it my baboonery? or it is a technical fault?

I had that when I upgraded to a 4S and found that the reason was that "private browsing" was turned on in the Safari settings, which seems to log you out each session. Switching it off seems to have done the trick...
