New Video - 1991/92 Season Highlights

Here's part one! I will try and post one each day...

Comments

  • That was a good season, we had a great away record but found it tough at times playing at Upton Park and lost a fair amount at home. Looking forward to the Blackburn away highlights when some Charlton ran through the gate after we took the lead. Comical!
  • Special memories for me as this was the season I started to attend regularly. Traveled down for the opener with two Toon mates in a rust bucket Fiesta. One of them got struck down with squits after ten minutes so missed most of the game!

Thanks for posting mate, happy memories.
  • Top man Jimmy, Robert Lee's first goal against Pompey was very good!
  • That was me leading the team out against Newcastle!

The first season I'd watched Charlton when they weren't struggling and what a good side we had particularly going forward with the likes of Walsh, Lee and big Carl. Happy memories.
  • Well done, some good memories there - thanks
  • Excellent stuff.....reminded me how good Steve Dixon is at commentating...cant we have him back on player?
  • That Southend match was a cracker, still remember it now like it was yesterday.
  • Just goes to show how most grounds have changed beyond recognition. Look at Wolves ffs!!!
  • Part 4 (featuring classic seven-goal thriller at St James' Park)

    Part 5

(I got mixed up while exporting some of these, so apologies if they start appearing in a funny order!)
  • Is that our Andy Hunt scoring against us for Newcastle?

Thank you so much for these
  • It is indeed our Andy Hunt.
  • Surely Leaburn's best season. How come I'd completely forgotten about his long throws? (but how crazy that our target man was taking them!
  • Sixth and final part!

  • cor im getting old was it 90/91 when we played plymouth last game of the season
newcastle 3-4 was one of the reasons i had to go to 98 per cent of the games didnt wanna miss anything
