Apparently so according to a recent poll. This despite the fact he wears GLOVES and a LONG SLEEVED undershirt beneath his jersey. I always assumed he was so tough that he wouldn't even want to wear a shirt, he would insist on it being painted on to his bare torso the way they do with Page 3 girls before cup finals. Also if reports are to be believed he has regular manicures and pedicures. Most manliest- I think not!

The poll was run by a company specialising in male grooming, says it all really.

    Well if I was one of the young men walking round today who wear chinos, have an array of grease like products in my hair and clearly wearing make up and fake tan. I would probably think Rooney look manly.
