Wow, the man has had a great career there's no doubting that, but his legs have gone, looked out of his depth last season and now a year older he's going up a league?  Play up Pompey, you're gonna need it.

Reidy was too hot and cold, if made an impact like he did at Southend away every game then he'd be a great player. Shame.

Dailly's problem last season was Doherty.

He's got a couple more seasons in him.

    Set up Portsmouth's equaliser

It's interesting to see where our ex-players are, but there are reasons why they're not still with us and after a good performance and a slightly flattering 3-0 win, I'm left thinking that the CAFC management made the right decisions.

Set up is maybe stretching it a bit ;-)

It wasn't slightly flattering! How can you possibly think that?

Always seems to play better in blue, than red. Rangers, Pompey & millwall.

Llera went to Blackpool didn't he?

    Yes perhaps a slight exaggeration...

    Set up Portsmouth's equaliser
by that you mean he toe punted it and Varney got lucky with the deflection

Expect him to do well as @crusty54 said, Dailly's problem was playing with Doc, he needed a "Rufus"style player alongside him. Just shows the gulf between League One and the Championship is not as great as some would make out. Back that up with the fact that all 3 promoted teams won yesterday.

Fancy Soton and Brighton to both be in the Top Six come the end of the season

perhaps some of our (ex) players aren't as s**t as some of our fans think they are !!

Varney, Reid, Dailly, Hudson, McCarthy, Ambrose...........are all playing in a higher division, but (to some) shouldn't be playing league football at all !!!

Even Parker is playing in the Championship. Ha ha ha.

Well, that's my opinion - we deserved to win. However, they could've had a penalty, they had as many shots as us on target, they (apparently) had 61% of the possession. It could've easily been a different, closer scoreline.

    Don't know how but yes.

    Yes, but not very well!

Poor old Wet Spam, how delicious would it be for us to swap places with them this year? Unlikely but still wonderful to dream.

I watched the first half of the Wet Spam v Cardiff game and Wet Spam were very poor, even though they had a team full of PL players, Cardiff were not much better.
