Whilst Charlton Athletic has a few memorable moments of history (eg 1947 FA Cup) associated with the name, the turgidity and decline of recent years arguable outweighs the positives with negatives. I seem to remember that Orient kept changing their name when they were rubbish to 'wipe the slate' clean. Is there any value in us changing our name in a year or two (a 'starting over', if you will).
Is so, what name would people like to see. I think Royal Greenwich FC (Greenwich becomes a Royal Borough in 2012) has a great ring to it, and would help attract tourists/overseas visitors/Royal Family loving Yanks/etc. Any other suggestions?

Sorry Henry - was that crown or clown..?
Hilarious - really annoys me how the official site seems to be set up only to push the CAFCTV player these days. I'm beginning to wonder if it'll be compulsory to have a subscription to get in the ground soon!
Think BD was talking about the nigels.
