Looks like we did well today, to not lose any of our bigger players, as some of our rivals took hits. Bournemouth lost Josh McQuoid, Wednesday lost Marcus Tudgay, Plymouth lost Rory Fallon and MK Dons lost Jermaine Easter, all to clubs in the Championship. One interesting move was that Rowan Vine signed for Brentford, which could be a great signing.

  • Not sure if Vine is that good a signing for Brentford, Charlie MacDonald and Gary Alexander have been in decent form for them in recent weeks whilst Vine has not been the same player since his broken leg. He had a goalless loan at Hull this season aswell.

As for McQoid, very unproven, this is his first full season for Bournemouth as first choice striker and although he has got plenty of goals- there was a 9 game drought (I think). Big step up for him to the Championship.

Pleased we have kept our better players but would much rather the likes of Charlie Austin had left.
