Local "rivals"

edited September 2010 in Other Football and Sports
What were the palace and millwall hone scores and gates yesterday - not seen a paper today.

Been doing FA level 1 coaching - good course but very interactive and a bit tough if you don't keep yourself fit !!

Most likely it will be 0 from 6 though.
  • Bit choice of the Police to arrest the fan who clumped the pitch invader imho.

Anyway phone number for the Samaritans is 0161 1616161.

That'll be brushed under the carpet as "youthful high jinks". As will the knob who ran on to try and attack the bloke for running on in the first place.

This incident can be directly attributed to a media bias to all things Spanner. Every team has this sort of element in their support and the slightest incident of public disorder within 10 miles of Spanner Central is blown totally out of proportion, as usual. I know the "accused" personally and I can tell you that each of them is dyed in the wool Wall and loves their mother. They only ever do their own and are just victims of a press playing up to an urban myth of Sarf London high jinks and japery. Was Pope Benedicts' visit in vain? Please have some compassion for the Dockers football club of choice! They are the victims here remember and we and the coalition government must support them all in these sensitive times.

    Next.

Who run on to attack the bloke? Didn't see that. Just the idiot getting clumped when he was back in the stand.

Nobody ran on to attack him although I could see (from the opposite stand) quite a few people giving the moron in question a dig as he was dragged away by the stewards into the home fans.

What was really laughable about the whole thing was how long it took the police to finally turn up. The stewards did a decent enough job, as did Neil Harris, but to see about 10 coppers running across almost a minute after the guy had left the field was hilarious.

Makes you question what they are doing there in the first place bearing in mind how high the police costs are for Millwall home games.
