Listening to last nights City/Pool game they mentioned that soon there will be a 25 player pool.The drift seemed to say that Prem clubs regiser 25 players for the firts team. Not sure what that actually means but they also hinted a good many players would be available for loan deals and their wages could/would be an issue.
If the the above is kosher then surely more deals like Belamy at Cardiff are on the cards? and hopefully if we can strike the right deal with the loaning club we might just get one or two very good loan players. I would expect that the Chumps league would have first hit on the surplus from the Prem, but drilling down that may mean a player or 3 will be about in the Chumps.
PS also a rare event these days but City had 6 English players on the pitch last night.
