2010/11 Season - When does it start?

Looking at booking holidays and, as ever, looking to avoid missing the start of the season. So has anyone got any idea when the whole shabang kicks off again?

    I'd take an educated guess of the 14th August. Kicked off a week earlier on the 8th this year due to the WC did it not?
