What Cup?

Whilst all the teams around us in the 3rd Tier will be playing cup matches at the weekend then a mid-week again next week our team will have the bonus of a full week to recover and train.

I know for those of us at Northwich it was a poor experience but we are now seeing the golden lining. and anyway who want's to get beat 5-1 by Arsenal in the 3rd round?

A very good point that was about the only posotive could have been taken from the Northwich affair is that we are out of all cups and can soley concentrate on getting out of this league. However if we dont get promoted we now have no excuse :-)

i'll be honest,
I would take a 5-1 thrashing by the kids at arsenal over losing 1-0 to a nonprofessional nonleague outfit on live TV with pretty much our full strength squad

We know what its all about...... promotion, I could care less about cups never have really(probabaly becasue Im a charlton fan)
