with the insipid response from the various football authorities to West Ham's cheating via the Tevez affair and fielding an ineligible player in the Carling Cup although, to be fair, less high profile clubs like Bury and AFC Wimbledon have received more severe penalties than West ham did for similarly fielding ineligible players.

The football authorities have also failed to punish Millwall for the repeated atrocities perpetrated by the sizeable minority of scumbags (10% or more) that form their "support."

Rugby has imperfections like any sport but at least the authorities seem to adopt a robust approach towards nipping problems in the bud.
