I know what you mean, used to think like that myself.

However, the way I look at it now is that I'd be more than happy to lose my bet, but if we did get beat then at least there's a few dollars in my dusty bin to get ratted with. After all, if the players are earning out of our abject performances then why shouldn't I?

It was that same thinking that led me to put £25 on us getting relegated a month or so back. Looks like a value bet now (unfortunately!)

I always bet on the other side although usually H/T F/T reverse, its the old reverse whatdoyoucallit.
