tacticts yesterday

edited December 2006 in General Charlton
It's hard to follow the reasoning of keeping the same starting 11 as against Everton on the basis of the great performance in the last 20 minutes. The last 20 against Everton were when big Bent came on for a 4-2-2, gave little Bent some support and generally put himself about. Wouldn't it have been logical to start with the team that played so well in the last 20. Which 20 minutes will Tuesday's team be based on?

Diawara has to come back, and I'd give Sam a chance instead of Ambrose or Romm.

  • If Diawara was fit enough for the bench yesterday then surely he was fit enough to play the last 20 minutes or so when we were under pressure and perhaps needed a fresh pair of legs at the back? Similarly Kish and Sam came on for ineffectual players, yet we didn't make any substitutions until after their equaliser, despite being under pressure and over-run in midfield.
