    "have you heard of North Bank Highbury" but what did Shankley reply?

    Allegedly he called him a cockney twat and asked if he'd heard of the Kop. But then I've seen the quote also attributed to Matt Busby...

    It was WBA and it was not in order Johnny Giles, Ron Saunders, Ronnie Allen, johnny Giles again, Ron Atkinson and another ron I can't remember.

    I always thought he said 'no, i don't think so'

    He how had ever heard of the Charlton aggro though i don't know, because hardly anyone else has !!
