New York tips

The Mrs is going tomorrow.

Got the restaurants, bars to go to but I'm sending her shopping for me (made her feel guilty for going without me and the kids)so bar the big stores/well known names......any others you could recommend for casual/sportswear etc.

I'm sure Riscardo *must* know some gems

There is a decent Designer outlet via coach about 35-40 mins outside New York that is well worth the trip, if she goes down the coach station they have all the leaflets details cannot for the life of me remember what the place is called though.

I picked up a really nice Rolex watch on Canal Street for only $12.

Not much use for telling the time but does look impressive when you wear it. LOL.

I thought she was going to New York, not New Orleans (Canal St) :-)

    Try Bloomendales and Foot Locker...

If Oakley's your bag you can get some real bargains mail order but they don't/won't ship to the UK. She might find a store that's doing a sale?

I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago, but didn't do much shopping - your good lady might find the exchange rate a bit of a shock! (I checked my statement and over the week I was there you can track the decline of the pound...)

That said, Century 21's meant to be the place to go for real bargains.
