Changing my account picture

edited March 2008 in Troubleshooting
I've managed to up load a picture which shows on "account picture" on my profile.

However it doesn't show on my account.

What I want to achieve is the Len Glover icon as I have it at the moment but the larger account picture as my other picture.

It's beyond my computer skills!

  • Great pic Len. If you still can't see it, it's a "cache" issue. Which means that your browser isn't showing you the new pic, because it's not goingn directly to the server for the pic, but loading it from memory (stored on your machine). Force your browser to reload the page direct from the server by, assuming you are on a Windows machine, loading the page and then pressing the F5 key to reload it.

    Tried that with no joy.

The picture is just on the computer saved in "my pictures". I've not gone to photoshop or anything like that. Again way beyond my knowledge!
  • I'm not sure I know what it is you mean. You want the larger pic on your Account page to be the one you took from K Block of the CAFC Blackburn match?

    Yes please!

  • Right... I can see that picture on your account page, so you must have done everything correctly. It has to be a cache issue on your pc. Follow these instructions:

To reload a page and bypass the cache:
either: Hold the Control key, and press F5.
or: Hold the Control key, and click the Refresh button on the Start bar.
  • Thanks Lookie!

I don't know what you did but now it works and I didn't need to hold the control key and press F5
  • The cache must have expired on its own... just a time thing.

    Great pic too.

Curbs' last game at The Valley, Blackburn.

A 2 nil home defeat, following a 4-1 reverse away at Bolton and just before a 4 nil thumping at Old Trafford. Yes, happy days indeed.

And here is our run in from the year before. Shocking!
    Is that what people want?

I make it 9 points out of a possible 42 and knocked out the cup by lower oposistion.
Were things really that good in the Prem? I don't think so.

Oooohaah, that's POSITIVE for you - been on my happy pills, have you ......? hehehe

Seriously, Ooohaah's pointed out that bald stastics often don't tell the stories behind the results.
(apart from: English Premier Charlton 0-4 Man Utd 01-05-2005 man utd got lucky but blackpool are great) LOL

And that Chelsea dodgy 'penalty' given by the ref still in the centre circle - that last minute Lampard dive from outside the box - saved by Andersen but scored on the rebound. No justice.

But we sent the Palace down.
Sha la la la la la la la la......
