The sad and undeserved end of Shergar

This has to be one of the saddest things I have ever read, I remember the day he went missing just a few months after watching this fantastic racing machine at Chester.

The horse was immense and my all time favourite and this will be of a genuine interest for those who admired him the way I did.

If you followed his career it is worth reading, I know there will be some jokes about it, but it's a chance I'll take for those of you who remember this wonder horse and were privilaged to see him on a race track live or on TV
