Anyone see this last night?

They compared the first ten games of last season to the first ten games of last season.

At this point last season we were third with 20 points.

At the same point last year, Sunderland were bottom of the league with 5 points.....

4 of the bottom six at that point last year were still there at the end of the season.

I went to bed after that in a cold sweat.....

it is worth emphasising that there is still such a long way to go this season. But every result is scrutinised far more than they were 10 years ago, and the fact of the matter is that our players are going to have to get used to and adapt to the fact that while we are in this position, every game is a massive game, which requires cup final effort.

Its the only way we will move out of this position. We have to get the right mentality into our play and the squad needs to be as tght-knit and as unified as it can possibly be.
