Well, it's better than him being happy at being dropped... Keepers are a temperamental bunch and right now we seem to have two wingers. However, I think of the two, Myhre has rarely done much wrong and the fact that Carson came straight from Liverpool and into the team was bound to rankle. Will Dowie man-manage better than Curbs is the question.
I can understand him being hacked off, he's an international keeper with much EPL experience and was replaced by a 21 year old who'd joined the squad 48 hours before the game and had only one or two training sessions before the match. You can only play one keeper at a time after all and at 33 he needs to be playing regularly.
Myhre has been about though, looking at his career on Yahoo he started at Viking Stavanger, then moved to Everton, before playing briefly at Rangers, Tranmere, Sunderland, Besiktas and Copenhagen. Didn't he also play for Palace albeit briefly?
