Both... glasses for day to day use, contacts when I'm out on the lash or a special occasion...

Can't, and shouldn't wear contacts all the time anyway

Really isn't a problem Ledge, you never actually touch your eye with your finger.

Wear mine 12-15 hours a day and probably (naughtily) 13 days out of 14.

why can you not where them all the time then?

You aren't supposed to wear them everyday as they will restrict the flow of air to your eyes.

So i'm told but optician i'm not..

I've worn lenses everyday for the past two years now - since my little cherub of a son snapped my glasses in half and I haven't gotten round to replacing them.

Hasn't done me any harm, although I am now officially registered blind.

I was the same for about 15 years, stopped in the end because it just felt wrong to keep putting things in my eyes every day, wore glasses for a month or two then had the lasers. I might be very lucky, but it is one of the best decisions I ever made.
