Following on from the Carlise thread, I am thinking of going to PNE but have nobody to travel with and don't fancy letting the train take the strain ! Does anyone have a spare seat in their car that is willing to accept a stranded Addick or is there any interest to join me in my motor and share the costs ? Have only been to PNE once and that was after a quick diversion from a midweek trip to watch us play Burnley that got called off at the 11th hour so the coaches were redirected to watch PNE v Colchester !!

Not being local anymore I was a big surprised to see that there aren't any trains from Blackheath to Charlton between 4.30 and 7pm, as walking that far is beyond my ability please suggest the best way to get to the Valley in time for a beer or two in the Lib before the Yeovil game. I don't really have to go up to London Bridge and back down do I ?

I've booked coach tickets for my son and myself for the Huddersfield game. I havn't been to an away match by coach since the Cardiff v Charlton 1984 on lewis coaches and have a few questions.

Does the gallon Juice bottle still get passed around if you need a pee?

Are you allowed to have a beer on the coach?

If the coach suffers a puncture, will the driver expect the passengers to change the tyre ?

Is it safe to leave things on the coach (such as your jacket).

What time does the coach usually get to the ground, will I have a chance to take in the huddersfield culture?

Where would you rank as a footballer in the world today?

If Messi is the 1st and Ronaldo the 2nd best footballer walking the planet today where would you be?

i.e BWP is probably one of the top nth footballers on the planet today whereas old Mrs Chung with arthiritis and one foot living in a rural North Korean village having never seen a football would be ranked the 6 billionth best footballer on the planet today for example

Would be intrigued to know where I was in the world rankings.

Reckon by having just played saturday and sunday league would put you in the top 10 million easily and just a case of working it out from there.

I usually travel with my Grandad who has a permit to park behind the West Stand. However, for the Brentford game I am driving down with my girlfriend and I am unsure where to park. Is the car park at PC World (or whichever electrical retailers is situated on the roundabout) one that gets clamped? If so, could people suggest areas to park? Thanks

According to BBC Travel News the M20 is currently closed between Wrotham and the M25 junction, with a diversion in place. I don't know how long it is to remain closed but this may cause long delays.

I've bought train tickets for Walsall away on 10th Dec with the return leaving the Bescot Stadium station at 18:34 (Planned on staying for a drink after and it was the cheapest train back).

I have now remembered I have tickets for something in the evening so will be getting an earlier train back- so therefore the return leg is up for sale for £8 or next offer. (£8 is face value)

I have the train ticket in my possession now so can give to you straight away. Willing to meet at the Valley or any Pub (pref Rose of Denmark!) on Saturday or in Bromley Area.

He is now planning on driving up Saturday, setting off early morning and asked if anyone on here wants a lift and to split the petrol money. As it will only be him theres 3 spare seats in the car. Just returned from Paris where their bike scheme is incredibly well used.
The bike stands where we travelled were empty every day and filled each late night.
Today I watched the delivery of bikes to the stands along Earls Court. Many of you will have seen the stands springing up.
What do people think of the scheme
Anyone use it?
like Paris , a 30 minute ride is free.
Hopefully unlike Paris, the majority wond be vandalised or stolen!

Hey!

I was wondering if there is any interest from Addicks in Kent, mainly around the Ashford/Tonbridge area, in running a minibus to away games. If there were about 7-8 of us and everyone paid their share of the minibus costs (hire, fuel etc.), then it would be relatively cheap for each person and we could get to away games. The bus wouldn't need to be to every away game, just some. Depending on where people live or how much interest there is we can organise pick-up points etc.

Me and mate have an interest in doing this, so that's two, but we're both 16 so we need someone who could drive obviously. So, if you are interest or know anyone who might be, just reply here!
